30-hour on-site course (3 ECTS) for levels A1, A2, B1 or B2, according to the level of the students enrolled. The course has a communicative approach and classes foster student participation, emphasising interaction and oral communication. The course develops the four communicative skills (reading, speaking, listening and writing) based on the needs and characteristics of the participants.

Certificate of attendance and completion and credit recognition. To earn a certificate, you must attend and complete at least 80% of the on-site sessions.
This course has a workload of 3 ECTS credits. If you are a UIC Barcelona undergraduate student, you can request recognition of 1 ECTS credits for taking the course. If you are an Erasmus student, you can include this course in your learning agreement. For mobility students, the number of credits recognised for this course will depend on your home university.
