Oral health in newborns, children and adolescents affects the general health of both the current child population and the future adult population. The availability of dentists specialising in the prevention and resolution of the most common oral problems in the paediatric population is therefore essential.
The Universitat Internacional de Catalunya trains professionals with a clear objective: to allow them to specialise in the diagnosis, prevention and resolution of the most common oral problems in the paediatric population by way of theoretical and practical training.
The Masters in Paediatric Dentistry focusses on the most recent technological breakthroughs applied to treatments concerned with improving patient health. Surgery, interceptive orthodontics and behavioural management all form part of the teaching programme, thus resulting in comprehensive treatment of the child.
