Introduction

At this subject will study distinct television formats, the feasibility of a project, the routines for his elaboration and the distinct possibilities of consumption for part of the spectator. It offers an approach at distinct modalities of informative programs and of actuality, hybrid formats of entertainment and skilled. Everything this at a general frame that seeks to influence at the identification of the new audiovisual narrative born from the development of Internet, the social networks and other digital platforms.

Pre-course requirements

No prerequisite is necessary to take the course.

Objectives

Endow at the pupils of the necessary tools to identify and interpret a television format since a professional perspective. Acquire the competences to be able to develop a program of television at any format from a good idea.
Improve the analytic capacity, creative and organisational of the pupil that have interest for the television mode.

TRAINING ACTIVITY ECTS CREDITS
Coaching. Monitoring how students learn the content of the subject, either individually or in groups. In the coaching sessions, mistakes will be corrected, queries answered, and exercises and activities to achieve the established objectives will be suggested. 0.2
Meeting Point. Meetings will be organised with notable people from the professional and scientific fields or the international field, and students. These sessions will take the form of conferences, work sessions, discussions, or interviews, etc. 0.6
E-learning. Virtual learning based on ICT. 0.4
Lab. Working groups that combine theory and practice. The aim of these is not to undertake already known techniques, but instead to make progress that is both theoretical and technical. These Lab sessions will culminate in the creation of a professional or semi-professional product. 0.6
Lectures. In lectures, lecturers/professors not only transmit content or knowledge, but also, and above all else, attitudes, motivation, skills and values, etc. They also ensure that participants can express their opinions and arguments to the other students. 0.8
Peer learning. The aim of this activity is to ensure that students gain the ability to analyse and be critical. One way of achieving this is by correcting their peers' exercises and results, etc. Each student will be evaluated twice: as both a recipient and a transmitter of critical knowledge. 0.4

La asignatura se supera con la elaboración de un proyecto individual o en grupo de no más de tres alumnos consistente en  un formato televisivo original y su desarrollo transmedia. Supone el 100% de la nota final, desglosado en los siguientes apartados:


VALORACIÓN DEL Proyecto transmedia basado en un formato original para televisión.

Formats Televisius curs 2022-2023

 Memoria como proyecto académico y profesional. Presentación, índice, mapa del universo transmedia y bases teóricas: género, subgénero y formato del programa de TV. VALORACIÓN 2 PUNTOS

Imagen del proyecto y conceptos estructurales. Título, recursos técnicos, estética, colores, platós, tipografía, logotipo. VALORACIÓN 2 PUNTOS

Mecánica del programa de TV y distribución. Formato, escaleta ejemplo, propuesta de presentadores y especialistas, canal de emisión y/o plataformas, franja, horario, duración, periodicidad, público objetivo. VALORACIÓN 2 PUNTO

Dimensión transmedia. Estrategia, identificación y definición del universo y de las comunidades, medios implicados, contenidos y mecánica. Interactividad. VALORACIÓN 3 PUNTOS

Formatos de referencia, costes de producción, registro de la idea y referencias. Comparativa con otros formatos, estimación aproximada del coste por capítulo, indicaciones de los pasos a seguir para proteger la idea original, referencias bibliográficas o en red y declaración de originalidad. VALORACIÓN 1 PUNTO
