Teaching staff

Introduction

Laboratorio de habilidades 4 aims, through different activities, to deepen self-knowledge, grow in personal maturity, and promote specific goals of personal and professional growth in the process of accompanying students before graduation in Psychology.

Pre-course requirements

Have passed the previous laboratory subjects and have completed at least 12 elective credits.

Objectives

1, That the student knows himself, his origin, his role and that of the rest of the people around him in different contexts.

2. That the student knows his basic pattern of personality.

3. That the student is capable of promoting specific objectives of personal and professional growth.

4. That the student learns the basic aspects of the MMPI-2 test.

5. That the student learn to manage mobilizing techniques.

6. That the student is trained to carry out the OSCE.

Competences/Learning outcomes of the degree programme

  • CE03 - The ability to make adequate decisions about what Psychology-specific methods and measuring instruments to use in each situation or evaluation context.
  • CE08 - Awareness of the professional reality of psychologists in a specific field of application.
  • CE14 - The ability to recognise the basis of normal and altered human behaviour.
  • CT01 - The capacity to organise and plan.

Learning outcomes of the subject

At the end of the course the student is expected to:

1. Identify your trigenerational family history.

2. Recognize evaluation as a feedback process.

3. Identify your strengths and personality traits.

4. Set personal growth goals.

5. Be able to lead and close a psychological session.

6. Know the basics of the MPPI-2 Test

Syllabus

A. Realization of a personality test and personal supervision process with a Mental Health professional.

B. Experiential-experiential workshop focused on self-knowledge.

C. Attendance and participation in clinical sessions or sessions adapted to the scope of the company and organizations (Careers).

D. Training in the OSCE.

TRAINING ACTIVITY
This is a unit in which students can train and learn clinical skills in order to develop specific and cross-disciplinary competences and their ability to communicate, make decisions and handle clinical situations, using mannequins, simulated robots and standardised patients to ensure quality medical care and learn to diagnose and cope with clinical problems without placing real patients at risk.

Evaluation systems and criteria

In person



1. Attendance to the different activities (40% of the final grade).

- attendance at all activities: 4 points

- a lack of assistance: 3.75 points

- two fouls: 3 points

- 3 fouls: 2 points

- 4 absences or more: 0 points

 

2. ECOE (60%).
