Introduction
Oral implantology is an essential treatment in any dental office. Having the knowledge to plan properly and perform a safe and minimally invasive surgical technique are essential. During this course, the student will be able to plan simple cases of dental implants and will be trained in surgical techniques to install them safely.

Graduate in Dentistry or similar

During this course, the student will be able to plan simple cases of dental implants and will be trained in surgical techniques to install them with safety.
Competences/Learning outcomes of the degree programme
CP01: The students will be able to plan and rehabilitate patients with single and partial edentulism with an aesthetic and functional result (adjusting the occlusion and the integration of the prosthesis in the whole of the mouth and the patient's face).
CP02: Students will be able to solve the complications that may arise before, during and after an oral surgery intervention.
PC03. Students will be able to generate work synergies with professionals from other areas and disciplines by designing joint action strategies in oral surgery and implantology patients.
PC04. The student body will respect the fundamental rights of equality between men and women, and the promotion of human rights and the values of a culture of peace and democratic values; using language that avoids androcentrism and stereotypes.
CP05: Students will be able to critically evaluate current research and advances in oral surgery and implantology, by evaluating methodologies and, if applicable, proposing new approaches/hypotheses.
CP06: The students will be able to carry out, through a previous elaboration, an aesthetic and functional oral rehabilitation treatment plan.
