Education
Antonio De Giorgi has a Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pisa in Italy (1997). He specialized in Internal Medicine at the University of Pisa (1988-2003). He holds a Master Degree in Management of Healthcare Organizations from ESADE (2019), a Master Degree in Anticoagulant Treatment from Universidad de Murcia (2016), and postgrade training in Emergency Medicine from Harvard Medical School (2009).
Professional experience
Antonio has teaching experience in the degree of Medicine since 2014 and in postgraduate education in recent years. He is the Medical Director of El Pilar Hospital in Barcelona, Quirón Salud group. Since 2011 he has been a member of the Societat Catalana de Medicina d'Urgències i Emergències. He collaborates in the writing of the electronic magazine ReMUE.cat. His main areas of interest are hemostasis and thrombosis, evidence-based medicine, and clinical management.
