Professional experience

He holds a degree in Medicine from the University of Barcelona - UB (2013), completing his specialization through the MIR program in Gastroenterology at the Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge (2018). He obtained his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Barcelona (2023; excellent cum laude), with his Doctoral Thesis focused on the endoscopic treatment of subepithelial tumors and anxiety-carcinophobia in patients. He is accredited as a PhD Thesis Director by the Doctoral Program in Medicine and Translational Research of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences - FMCS at the UB (2023). He is a teaching collaborator in the Official Master's Degree in Advanced Medical Competencies at FMCS-UB (2020- ). Since 2020, he has been the Head of the Gastroenterology Department at the Hospital General de Granollers. He has served as a Member of the National Commission for the Gastroenterology Specialty (2016-2018), Member of the Teaching Commission at the H.U. de Bellvitge (2014-2018), President of the Section of MIR Doctors and Young Doctors at the Barcelona Medical Association - CoMB (2017-2019), Member of the Board of Governors of CoMB (2018-2021), and Member of the Board of Directors of the Catalan Society of Digestology (2016-2018), among others. He is the author and co-author of 15 publications in indexed journals, with a cumulative impact factor of 81.968 points, as well as numerous presentations at national and international conferences.
