The UIC Barcelona Equality Office aims to guarantee the best working conditions for all employees and students that form part of our institution.
As such, the University, true to its ideology, firmly maintains its proposal in favour of equal opportunities and the principle of non-discrimination.
The Office not only advises the People Management Department on the implementation of the Equality Plan, it also helps to collect and analyse data that measures work-life balance and the professional progression of both women and men at UIC Barcelona. It offers support for employees’ queries and initiatives and plans to launch training courses on equality and work-life balance for administration and service staff (PAS), teaching and research staff (PDI) and the entire university community.
The Equality Office was approved on 17 June 2019 by the Executive Committee of the University’s Board of Governors.
