Smoke free area

At UIC Barcelona, we are firmly committed to sustainability and the promotion of health. Let’s all do our part to make our university a healthy environment.

We uphold Law 42/2010, which states that smoking is not permitted in “schools and training centres”, except in open-air spaces outside universities or centres devoted exclusively to adult education, provided these spaces are not entrance ways to the buildings or surrounding pavements".

The smoke-free areas are clearly indicated on both campuses, as are the designated smoking areas in the buildings on the Barcelona Campus.
