It’s the date we celebrate UIC Social Day, our date with solidarity.

Choose with which mission you want to volunteer with this academic year and help us celebrate this special day in solidarity with all of us who are part of UIC Barcelona.

There are a thousand ways to improve the lives of others. Here you have eight:

We will prepare a very special breakfast for the homeless people. Are you interested?

TIME: 9.45 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

MISSION “CHRISTMAS GREETINGS”

Come and write a postcard with of Christmas greetings for elderly people who need it so much.

LOCATION: Barcelona Campus and Sant Cugat Campus.

TIME: 9.45 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

COOPERATING ENTITIES: Aste BCN (in Barcelona) y Mira-Sol nursing home (in Sant Cugat).

Will you help us prepare Advent calendars for people with functional diversity?

Let's play sports, team up and support people with disabilities.

LOCATION: Pàdel Zona Esportiva Jaume Tubau, in Sant Cugat del Vallès.

Knowing how to listen is so important... Find out what it’s like for people with hearing impairment.

MISSION “GIVE FOOD, GIVE YOURSELF TO OTHERS”

Participate in collecting food for families in vulnerable situations and get some ideas of how you can help others this Christmas.

LOCATION: Barcelona Campus and Sant Cugat Campus.

TIME: 9.45 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

BENEFICIARY ENTITY Acció Social Montalegre and the Associació Ginesta for Families in the Raval and Guineueta neighbourhood, respecitvely.
