These practices are carried out during the first two years of the IMOS in hospitals in collaboration with the UIC.   This activity is always supervised by a specialist and is a complement to the theoretical training of the students.   They are compulsory and performed by groups of two or one student throughout the academic year.

Occasionally, IMOS students may participate by attending the surgical team during surgery.   All IMOS students must complete the book of interventions (logbook) with all the interventions carried out as main surgeons or assistants during the entire training program.
