In this session we review the literature on oral surgery will catch all the current literature and articles "classic" about the subject so that the student is current on all publications related to the field of oral surgery.
Such knowledge increases both the ability of health care professionals as they have more knowledge and more and more present on the surgery allows them a better disposition, a more critical view, the scientific publication and participation in both the Masters and after in their professional lives
The student must have sufficient qualification for having entered the International Master of Oral Surgery and have an adequate level of English.
Adquisió knowledge in reading comprehension and ability to critique both classical literature as the most rigorous in the present field of oral surgery and implantology.

The powers of the student in this course must be, above all, the understanding of the scientific literature related acual oral surgery. The students should be able to read, understand, summarize and make a critical analysis of the article to review. Moreover, as the subject is distrubuida blocks of different topics, MUST alunmos conclusions of the topics reviewed to have a scientific support for therapeutic decisions.
First. Acquire a high level of knowledge in oral surgery.

Three. Acquire complete knowledge regarding the publication of articles.
SECTION 1: anatomical considerations for oral surgery.
SECTION 2 examinations in oral surgery.
SECTION 3: Good pain management
SECTION 4: Management of complications of surgery.
SECTION 5: incisions and sutures.
SECTION 6: bone replacements.
SECTION 7: Membranes. Are they necessary? What?
SECTION 8: Increase in horizontal defects.
SECTION 9: Increased vertical defects.
SECTION 10: Split casting.
SECTION 11: Sandwich Technique.
SECTION 12: Rise itself.
SECTION 13: pterigoideus implants and zygomatic implants.
SECTION 14: Blocks of bone.
SECTION 15: Time reconstructive treatment.
SECTION 16: orthognathic treatment.
SECTION 17: How to write a paper or prepare an oral presentation.
SECTION 18: Animal testing.
Practical sessions
Fee in a classroom of the faculty of dentistry Tuesday from 15 to 16 hours and will be guided by Dra. Satorres And Dr. Gargallo. Students will be responsible for preparing items to check in each day and prepare a power point with a summary of it in English to be displayed in the same language as the rest of those attending the session. Once the items exhibited both students and teachers attending to ask questions about the article reviewed and removed appropriate conclusions.
EVALUATION
The evaluation of this session will be continually evaluating the following parameters:
Understanding the dynamics of the session
Active participation in the same
Well prepared to discuss the articles themselves
To pass the course it is essential to adopt the practice session and attendance at all MEETING performed.
Total 100 points.
