The evaluation of this subject will be conducted by different procedures. Continuous assessment will be the basic principle to achieve. For this purpose different qualifications will be obtained over the two academic years, from their training activities.
In the training activity MC (Case method for the analysis and resolution of clinical cases) evaluations will be conducted from direct and personal involvement in the development of this activity (knowledge of the patients schedule, order and proper use of clinical documentation, contributions and support to other colleagues ...). Scientific, technical and clinical knowledge related to the pathology of the patient will be valued (the use of an appropriate scientific terminology, the ability to solve problems in diagnostic or therapeutic stages that may not be fully defined, proper analysis of the data of the clinical history, application and interpretation of complementary explorations...); and the manner in the presentation of MC (communication skills, oral and body language, use of bibliographic databases and computer resources ...). The presentations of clinical cases will be made in computer files (like "Microsoft Office PowerPoint Presentation") and will be part of the clinical documentation of each patient (properly according to laws protecting patient data) it can be consulted at any time by the responsible teacher.
In SEM training activity (seminars) evaluations will be conducted from direct and personal involvement in the development of this activity being assessed their capacity of synthesis and problem resolution in situations that cannot be entirely predictable. The methodology of the scientific paper reviews submitted will also be assessed by the / teacher / s responsible / s of the training activity. These revisions will be made in computer files (type "Microsoft Office PowerPoint Presentation") and teachers will take care of the documentation provided. Written tests (exams) will be performed to evaluate the theoretical knowledge learned in the course of the SEM.
