Objectives
The aim of this course is that students expose cases of patients treated in clinics outside the university. These cases will be presented by students including medical records, X-rays, photographs, and describing and arguing their therapeutic orientation to be discussed by the other students and teachers of the master. This clinical documentation will be treated according to the laws protecting patient data. Those complex cases that raise various therapeutic options must be accompanied by the relevant literature review updated so that at the end of the training program of the Master, students will have gained a theoretical training throughout the pathology related to the restorative dentistry pediatric patient . The exhibitions will be held before the other fellow first and second course and the teacher in charge of the course, so students should be able to answer the questions or issues that may arise during the exhibition.
Competences / Learning outcomes of the degree programme
- Make a right extraoral and intraoral diagnosis.
- Conduct a therapeutic approach for each case.
- Be able to make presentations on publicly justifying own clinical cases based on the scientific literature.
- Have the ability to communicate with parents or guardians to explain scientific criteria , but accessible language , diagnosis, treatment plan and prognosis.
Learning outcomes of the subject
- Students will learn to correctly use scientific terminology related to oral pathology and restorative dentistry child patient.
- The student is able to perform publicly presentations on clinical cases, all diagnostic details and additional examinations required
. - The student will acquire the knowledge necessary to propose treatment plans referenced in the scientific literature

The student will be assessed in different ways:
- Quality of the presentation. - Speaking and aesthetics.
- Participation in joint discussions of the different cases presented by other students .
- Responsiveness to the issues that may arise during the presentation of the case .
- The evaluation will be continuous throughout the course .
