Justification.
The planning of nursing care for major changes in the health of people requires a solid foundation of general skills that will be repeated in learning the care plan for each pathology. Progressively discover and internalize these skills with a methodology that combines the Master Class for the more complex and novel issues, while the remaining topics are reserved for group tutoring, preparation and presentation of information, and the facilitation of the assimilation of skills.
Descriptor.
General Clinical Nursing subject focuses on acquiring the knowledge of recognizing adult health disorders, manifestations and care, and applying the Nursing Care Process P.A.E (from the Spanish term Proceso de Atención de Enfermería).During the course of the subject students will preform the care procedures to treat and / or prevent arising problems in the patients and families through cooperative work with other team members and with the participation of the person receiving care and their families in the health and disease process. Highlights include elements that are the basis for other courses in areas such as Semiotics, Homeostasis and General Basic Principles of Clinical care.

Table shows the relationship between ECTS and workload in hours of learning based on different methodologies to be used in General Clinical Nursing. All calculations are made under the assumption that the plan must contain 240 ECTS. In this area , every ECTS equals 10 hours in which the professor has a role or presence. This teaching load can be made through Master Class where the professor will present the main ideas and encourage participation and discourse. It also can be made by the individual and group tutorials where students will be accompanied in the learning process, being guided and advised at all times. Cooperative work between peers is encouraged. The remaining 15 hours up to 25 of 1 ECTS, are distributed in 7 hours of autonomous work of which the professor monitor virtually 3 hours through ICT and 4 hours correspond to the students themselves. The rest of the 8 hours that do not appear in the tables correspond to the directed workload and autonomous learning of the student. In autonomous work, the student will learn to solve problems on their own with the reinforcement of the given material and information received in the lectures. There will be hours spent searching for information, development of work and individual study, all to achieve the desired knowledge.

The subject will be evaluated during the semester with various ongoing assessments and a final exam. The continuous assessment will have: Participation in class expressed through questionnaires through ICT, -Work on questionnaires and exercises through ICT and a midterm exam.
Relationship of the evaluation approach with learning objectives
The method of assessment will include all educational methodologies, not only will the individual work and synthesis in individual tests (midterm and final) be collected, but the continued work and synthesis of information from class discussions, reading literature and performing exercises will also be evaluated.
Relative weight of each instance of evaluation in the overall evaluation
1. Participation in class on clinical cases and proposed exercises will be evaluated with a value of 25%. By means of:
a) The solution through Moodle questionnaires and whose answers after being made in class will be presented by the student on the same day.
b) Correction of the exercises done in class.
c) The resulting mark of the "oral questions contest" among groups that will be held at the end of the course, as a synthesis of the subject.
2. Exercises and Questionnaires Working through ICT 15%.
3. Midterm exam 20%.
· The Midterm exam and final exam questions will be multiple choice response and / or short answer questions.
Second evaluation
The course will be evaluated with a final exam worth 60% and the mark of the continuous assessment will be a percentage of 40% since the midterm will not be considered. The 40% of continuous assessment will allow:
Evaluation of skills.
The outlined skills in the course will be passed if the evaluative tests are completed and passed. Learning outcomes and assessment tools skills can be found in Appendix 1.
General evaluation criteria
Evaluation scheme
Continuous assessment will be conducted and marks will be continuously placed on intranet so that students can see their progression of learning. The questionnaires will give feed back with the right answers so that students can learn and assess themselves at the same time. Students can review their examination.
Honor qualifications will not be awarded in any resit
