Justification.
The planning of nursing care for major changes in the health of people requires a solid foundation of general skills that will be repeated in learning the care plan for each pathology. Progressively discover and internalize these skills with a methodology that combines the Master Class for the more complex and novel issues, while the remaining topics are reserved for group tutoring, preparation and presentation of information, and the facilitation of the assimilation of skills.
Descriptor.
General Clinical Nursing subject focuses on acquiring the knowledge of recognizing adult health disorders, manifestations and care, and applying the Nursing Care Process P.A.E (from the Spanish term Proceso de Atención de Enfermería).During the course of the subject students will preform the care procedures to treat and / or prevent arising problems in the patients and families through cooperative work with other team members and with the participation of the person receiving care and their families in the health and disease process. Highlights include elements that are the basis for other courses in areas such as Semiotics, Homeostasis and General Basic Principles of Clinical care.
