Introduction

The exercise of our profession, nursing, in addition to data collection, care planning and implementing interventions, can not be performed without a relationship approach to help patients, relatives and even with the same classmates. The relationship is mandatory to help create a climate of facil.litador Expression of emotions, provide information and offer Necessary conditions for the evolution of the patient and the solution of the problems faced. To establish a climate of trust, of acceptance, respect and understanding, this relationship raises the patient's ability to take care of itself. The relationship is based on self help, preparing extrategies communication and learning some skills that development during the course.

Objectives

1. Highlight the importance of the relationship of nursing - patient - family.
2. Training in handling the emotional reactions and originated in the proper relationship with patients, family and coworkers.
3. Facil.litar strategies for autoconocimient.
4. Offer strategies for action: skills, attitudes and aptitudes to help establish a relationship.
5. Understanding the ways of verbal and nonverbal communication to establish a proper relationship.
6. Nursing professionals to help you understand and differentiate between normal grief and mourning pathological processes, and thus rely on people who suffer a loss.

Syllabus

Item 1 ratio `HELP. Basic premises MODEL
       1.1 Person assisted, type of relationship and that person helps.
       1.2 Nursing and le characteristics. Objective. Knowledge, skills and attitudes. Limit the operation. Objectives of the aid relationship. Processes present in the relationship: person-problem-context. Phases of the aid relationship. Jobs to take each stage of the relationship.
       1.3 Skills required to support the relationship. Understanding the role of a relationship. Autoconeixements, self-esteem and asertivitat. Use of personal resources.

Item 2 SKILLS: COMMUNICATION CONCEPTS verbal and nonverbal
       2.1 Verbal communication:-Techniques: repetition, reformulation, elucidation, synthesis, questions, feedback, autorrevelació.-Attitudes: empathic understanding, respect, authenticity, specificity, inmediatez, confrontation.
       2.2 Nonverbal Communication: Effects of the environment. Territory and space-personal.Apariencia física.Movimients and postures.Conducta tàctil.Expresions facial and nonverbal behavior visual.Desenvolupament skills.

Item 3 STRESS, AND DISEASE hospitalization
       3.1 Answers psychological stressful situations. Manifestations of Anxiety and mechanisms superarla.

Item 4 of the process of dying
       4.1 Preparation of mourning. The attachment, loss and grief of the spots. Abnormal and normal reactions to grief.

Item 5 SUMMARY
       5.1 Ejercici global synthesis: counseling by nurses to patients and families.

Teaching and learning activities

In person

Each class will last 2 hours. We combine the theory of matter with Practice during lessons, the exercises consisting of 'role-playing' comments audiovisials exercises and discussions related to the content teròric program.
The final evaluation will be made by the student quiz and drawing work.

Evaluation systems and criteria

In person

The evaluation will be ongoing. We appreciate the assistance and participation in class `. It reatlitzarà work and a final exam. The final calificació be calculated as follows:

  • The note of the `final exam will be 50% of the assessment.
  • The note of the work will be 30% of the assessment.
  • Participation in class will be 20% of the assessment.
