Introduction

This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform clinical treatments.

Pre-course requirements

No previous requirements

Objectives

In this course students must:

- Document all cases with photographs and radiographs

- Learn to make camerales openings under magnification

- Practice different instrumentation techniques

- Practice different obturation techniques

- Practice different techniques sealing material removal

Syllabus

Each student must complete a minimum of 150 invitro teeth.

 

- Camerales Openings anterior  teeth (upper and lower).

- Cameral Openings posterior teeth (upper and lower).

- Use a minimum of 5 instrumentation techniques.

- Use a minimum of 4 obturation techniques.

- Use a minimum of 3 techniques retreat

Teaching and learning activities

In person

Preclinical practices will be conducted in the laboratory of the CUO. Each student will have a dossier with photographs and radiographs of all the instrumented teeth.

 

Practices will be tutored and supervised by a professor of Endodontics and Restorative Dental

Evaluation systems and criteria

In person

At the end of the quarter the student will defend the various relaizados cases before a peer.
