The aim of this course is to provide the student with a comprehensive knowledge of all the steps that must be taken to achieve a correct diagnosis and a successful treatment outcome.

Pre-course requirements

Knowledge of dental anatomy and pathophysiology of oral diseases. Knowledge of clinical techniques relating to dental therapeutic, dental prosthesis, periodontics and orthodontics. Software knowledge related to text processing and presentations.

Objectives

  • Apply the acquired knowledge and develop an ability to solve problems in new environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their field of study.
  • Know how to apply the appropriate diagnostic techniques and interpret the results.
  • Know the appropriate diagnostic techniques and correctly interpret the results derived from them.
  • Be able to integrate new knowledge through research and study, and deal with complexity.
  • Know and understand how to provide a basis or opportunity for originality in developing and / or applying ideas in a research context.
  • Apply acquired knowledge and develop a problem-solving ability in new environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to the field of study in question.
  • Make a correct analysis and diagnosis, taking into account multidisciplinary factors.
  • Acquire the ability to correctly plan endodontic treatments.
  • Be able to deliver public presentations on one’s own clinical cases and justify decisions, using correct scientific terminology and based on the scientific literature.
