This course aims to offer students theoretical knowledge about risk behaviors adopted by our society, and understand how these behaviors over time may end up becoming out of control and addiction. Therefore, we will try to give knowledge to understand, prevent and treat knowledge, risk behavior and avoid addictions. Similarly, also impart knowledge of the additions that can be generated as they could be drug addiction, pathological gambling, addictions emerging Internet, compulsive shopping, overwork, and also the excess eating disorder or defect. All risk behavior triggers an addiction focused on adverse outcomes for severely damaging to our population.


Nursing as a group directly involved in promoting and safeguarding the health of the population has a significant and strategic role in identifying cases and treat any health damaging behavior.

Objectives

  1. Describe the theoretical basis of conocimientos that exists in the development of conductas of Risk and addictions.
  2. info to view the main factors that favorecen RISK to Lauch conductas addictive.
  3. Dar info to view in the main lines of treatment and resources available for patients with addictions (ludopatías, workplaces, Internet ...).
  4. Reconocer the role of community nurse in this field and its contributions to patient, family, and community.
  5. Learn to focus and plan correctamente them to patient care in nursing situation of Risk
  6. Dar's programs to existing info to view different in that they are in Buenos funcionamiento for trafficking or to prevent conductas RISK.

  • 1. G - Ability to provide technical and professional health care appropriate to the health needs of the people they treat, with full technical and scientific autonomy, according to current and available scientific knowledge and to the quality standards and safety requirements set forth in the applicable legal standards and code of ethics.

Finish to the unfulfilled, the student must be a capaz of:

  1. Reach the existing theoretical foundations of Knowledge in the development of conductas of RISK and addictions.
  2. Info to view and identify these types of factors that conduct to Lauch RISK conductas addictive.
  3. Info to view the principalities lines and treatment resources available in the embrace of the fin problem conlleva toda addiction.
  4. To acquire and own take on the role of nurse cabo community in this problematic, from a holistic perspective of the person.
  5. Focus and nursing care plan correctamente them for every patient that they are in situation of RISK.
  6. Info to view the existence of Programs and finalidad específicos funcionamiento in that they are in Buenos Aires or to prevent trafficking of conductas RISK.

Syllabus

BLOCK I. DRUG ABUSE ANDADDICTIONS


- Topic 1: General concepts, classification of drugs and risk factors extrinsic and intrinsic.
- Theme 2: Prevention strategies at different levels. Preventive and treatment programs in place.
- Item 3: Drug depressant. Consumption of opiates, tranquillizers and hypnotics.
- Item 4: Alcohol and tabaco.
- Item 5: Drugs Psychostimulants, Amphetamines and Cocaine.
- Item 6: Drug Design. MDMA. GHB. Ketamine. New synthetic drugs.
- Item 7: Cannabis and naturally occurring hallucinogens.
- Item 8: Nursing care in drug addiction.

BLOCK II. NEW ADDITIONS pathological gambling. INTERNET AND WORK compulsive shopping.


- Topic 9: General concepts, risk factors extrinsic and intrinsic. Nursing care in emerging addictions.
- Theme 10: Gambling and Ciberadicció or Internet addiction disorder (IAD)
- Item 11: compulsive shopping addiction (Oniomania) and work (workaholic).


SECTION III. EATING DISORDERS. INTAKE IN EXCESS OR
POOR. BODY WORSHIP. SEARCH EXTREME perfectionism.
  
- Topic 12: General concepts, stereotypes force, and risk factors extrinsic and intrinsic.
- Theme 13: deficient intake. Pursuit of perfection. Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia.
- Item 14: Intake voracious, compulsive, uncontrolled eating in excess.
- Item 15: Nursing care in eating disorders.

Teaching and learning activities

In person

The teaching methods used in this course focus on managing and ensuring the learning process of students. The appropriate approach and methodology for implementation of the teachers allow the acquisition and assimilation of knowledge in this subject and stipulated in relation to the academic year.

The methodologies used are:

- Conducting classes: sessions will deal with exhibition content with graphics, audio-visual support for the teacher. At the same time promote the participation of students through open-ended questions that allow the consolidation of the knowledge of the student. The content will consist of lectures on the development of themes and concepts detailed in the syllabus of the course.

  - Realization of practical classes through case analysis: the method is still the problem-based learning (PBL). It consists in presenting a problematic situation, real or fictitious, in which students must solve using an approach that is presented. The case will work in groups in the classroom to promote team work yet independently outside the classroom. Therefore, the student acquires knowledge, skills and attitudes through a self directed by the teacher.

  - Suggested reading and discussion: The main objective is to work on the subject content across different sources of information and create spaces for exchange based approach to real situations that trigger food for thought.

Evaluation systems and criteria

In person

The course will be evaluated as follows:

  • 50% continuous assessment. Exposure and resolution of cases, suggested readings, discussion.
  • 50%multiple choice theory exam content taught in class.
  • No fees of Honor awarded for 2nd call
