Introduction

The information recorded in the patient's medical history is essential for monitoring the evolution of the patient and communication with other professionals involved in their care. At the same time serves to objectify our work as nurses for the evaluation results can then be used for research, creating future interventions for nurses.

As new technologies allow us to record data in a computerized future professionals must be able to capture the total content of the process of nursing care to platforms designed for such use without losing the essence of the message transmit or leaving the framework of the law

Pre-course requirements

Objectives

1. Be able to make records based on clinical assessment of patients using scientific language, basing their actions and evaluating their interventions.
2. Be able to draw recommendations directed to the user to restore or maintain health.
3. Will use the software to record all data and to design the process of nursing care of patients.
4. Be aware of the importance of registering such written notice of their actions.

  • Is able to capture so computerized assessment, and records the process of nursing care.
  • Is aware of the legal implications of all their clinical records.

Teaching and learning activities

The methodology is the same for the part of computer records, but with smaller working groups.

Evaluation systems and criteria

In person

There will be a part of continuous assessment through activities and exercises targeted at specific classes for the final grade (70%).

 Exercises were carried out directly in class, if the student has not attended the exercise may be deliver in two days, computing for continuous assessment note 60 % of the grade of that particular exercise .On second call work will be required to note of continuous assessment.

Final Exam (30%). 

Both parts should be approved for average.

No fees of Honor awarded for 2nd call
