The implementation of clinical practices on a patient under the supervision of a teacher of the discipline. In order
to be able to participate in the same, the student must previously have achieved the minimum requirements of
theory and laboratory practices. The change to the clinical practice will be individual, depending on the skills
demonstrated in the preclinical practices by each particular student.
The student must demonstrate is trained to perform clinical practice on patients.
To be able to treat a patient with dental trauma.
To be able to work in a team with specialists from other areas.
To be able to perform direct and indirect reconstructions on teeth which have undergone endodontic
treatment.
To acquire the ability to perform endodontic cases of low, medium and high difficulty.
To be able to diagnose teeth with pulp-periapical pathology and perform a differential diagnosis.
To be able to perform apical surgery.
The evaluation of this subject will be carried out via continuous assessment. The student must submit the
exercises, case studies, and projects carried out during the clinical practices to the teacher for evaluation.
Students must have finalised a certain number of endodontic treatments, at the discretion of the head of the
master’s degree course (approximately 200 finished cases).
