Introduction
Introduction
This course aims to integrate research into the learning of pediatric dentistry and give it the importance it deserves . In this matter the scientific literature ( format and content) and other documentation, references, standards Vancouver, the impact factor of the journals , obtaining documents (bibliographic resources of the university )will be reviewed.

Objectives
The objectives are to promote student collaboration in different research areas, both bibliographic level as laboratory and clinical; and along with the course lecturers, encourage the development of scientific papers, articles for publication and presentation of national and international presentations.

- Learn the basics appropriate statistics.
- Knowing how to find scientific information in the proper channels.
- Know how to perform a literature review and use it as a standard tool in their ongoing training and professional.
- Know the different phases of clinical research and materials.
- Perform the experimental design of a research project.

Learning outcomes
- The student will understand the scientific literature critically and recognizes its parts.
- The student will be presented a research protocol, clinical or laboratory, which will be supervised in a personalized way.
- In the case of making a research protocol laboratory, the student will know and understand the management appliance testing laboratory and biomedical materials research.
- The student will learn to use the software for managing references.

Student work will be evaluated on an ongoing basis throughout the course. The student must meet the deadlines established at the beginning of the course to the delivery of work.
