Presentació

El curs de Disseny en Odontologia Digital ofereix una formació teòrica i pràctica integral dividida en dos blocs semestrals: una fase inicial, principalment pràctica, centrada en l'ús de programari i eines d'escaneig, i una segona fase teòrica, centrada en la revisió sistemàtica i l'anàlisi crítica de la literatura científica actual en odontologia digital.

Requisits previs

 Coneixements bàsics d'anatomia dental, oclusió i pròtesis dental.
 Nocions fonamentals d'informàtica d'usuari.
 Capacitat de lectura i comprensió d'articles científics en anglès tècnic.

Objectius

• Primer Semestre: Capacitar l'estudiant a la presa d'impressions digitals (escanejat intraoral) i al disseny assistit per ordinador (CAD) de restauracions amb diferents programaris de disseny.
• Segon Semestre: Proporcionar a l'alumne les eines metodològiques per a la cerca, la lectura crítica i la revisió de la literatura científica més recent sobre tecnologia digital en odontologia.
• Comprendre l‟evidència científica que avala l‟ús dels diferents fluxos de treball digitals enfront dels mètodes convencionals.

Competències/Resultats d’aprenentatge de la titulació

  • CB10 - Que els estudiants tinguin les habilitats d’aprenentatge que els permetin continuar estudiant.
  • CE11 - Tenir autonomia en el desenvolupament i l’aplicació de les noves tecnologies en odontologia restauradora estètica i en la recerca de nova informació científica, i adquirir l’habilitat d’avaluar i fer els projectes de recerca i desenvolupament que ofereix la indústria de manera ètica, i gestionar els recursos econòmics i humans, així com conèixer les bases estratègiques per a la transferència de nous coneixements a la indústria.
  • CE5 - Ser capaç de fer presentacions públiques sobre casos clínics propis basats en la literatura científica, i fer servir correctament la terminologia científica relacionada amb la disfunció temporomandibular i l’odontologia restauradora estètica.
  • CE7 - Ser capaç de buscar, organitzar i analitzar, amb esperit crític, utilitzant fonts d’informació biomèdica, la literatura científica sobre temes relacionats amb la disfunció temporomandibular i l’odontologia restauradora estètica, per poder seguir el seu procés de formació continuada de forma autodirigida i autònoma.

Resultats d’aprenentatge de l’assignatura

  • - Evidència científica en Odontologia Restauradora Estètica - - L'alumne coneix les bases i criteris del diagnòstic estètic i de l'anàlisi del somriure - L'alumne comprèn els principis de l'osteointegració i de la pròtesi sobre implants - L'alumne coneix els mecanismes i materials d'adhesió a odontologia sobre els diferents materials - L'alumne coneix en profunditat l'anatomia dentària i oral - L'alumne analitza la literatura científica amb esperit crític. - L'alumne analitza la qualitat de la literatura científica pel contingut més que per la presentació i el format. - L'alumne cerca informació científica sobre temes relacionats amb la funciona odontologia restauradora estètica. - L'alumne fa una revisió bibliogràfica sobre temes concrets de l'àmbit de l'odontologia restauradora estètica i té en compte les relacions amb altres àmbits de l'Odontologia, per poder actuar de manera avançada i multidisciplinària. - L'alumne aprèn a aplicar la metodologia de la investigació als seus treballs científics. - L'alumne aprèn les bases de l'anàlisi estadística necessàries per al desenvolupament dels treballs de recerca i l'anàlisi dels resultats obtinguts. - L'alumne assumeix que la revisió de la literatura científica ha de ser una eina imprescindible en la tasca professional i que tots els procediments clínics usats en la professió han d'estar basats en l'evidència científica. - L'alumne realitza publicacions sobre revisions bibliogràfiques en disposar de les bases teòriques i pràctiques per fer-les. - L'alumne integra coneixements i s'enfronta a la complexitat de formular judicis a partir d'una informació clínica i bibliogràfica que pot arribar a ser limitada de vegades.
  • - Noves Tecnologies en Odontologia Restauradora Estètica - L'alumne manté una actualització constant al camp de les noves tecnologies i materials professionals, per poder ser un odontòleg restaurador en contínua formació. - L'alumne aprèn a fer preparacions a les dents per poder realitzar tractaments complexos en operatòria directa i indirecta - L'alumne aprèn a executar els tractaments més complexos en operatòria dental directa i indirecta - L'alumne manté contactes amb la indústria i les firmes comercials per poder comunicar-vos les vostres necessitats com a professional expert en l'àmbit avançat i multidisciplinari de l'odontologia restauradora estètica. També hi treballa per iniciar noves investigacions o tecnologies.
  • - Planificació clínica multidisciplinar o complexa - L'alumne és capaç d'usar correctament la terminologia científica relacionada amb l'odontologia restauradora estètica, fent una correcta anàlisi i diagnòstic extraoral del terç inferior de la cara dels pacients, destacant-ne els aspectes estètics i funcionals de les dents i parts toves de la boca en aquesta anàlisi. També sap fer una exploració i diagnòstic intraoral correctes de l'aparell masticatori dels pacients. - Els alumnes són capaços d'identificar i reproduir els criteris de la macroestètica i microestètica dental, també als teixits durs i tous de la boca. - L'alumne és capaç d'analitzar i diagnosticar els casos clínics d'alta complexitat així com fer planificació multidisciplinària. - L'alumne és capaç de presentar i discutir els seus plans de tractament sobre la base de la literatura científica en l'àmbit de l'Odontologia Restauradora Estètica - L'alumne té una formació multidisicplinar bàsica que li permet planificar els tractaments que engloben Ortodòncia, Cirurgia, Periodòncia, Prostodòncia i Oclusió. - L'alumne és capaç de fer presentacions públiques sobre casos clínics, amb tots els detalls diagnòstics i exploracions complementàries requerides, fent propostes de plans de tractaments referenciats a la literatura científica. - Els alumnes tenen un coneixement clar i avançat en conceptes com l'osteointegració, adaptació passiva, torcament, connexió implantològica, superfície de l'implant, tipus de pilar protètic, tipus d'impressions a realitzar, transferència dels paràmetres oclusals funcionals i estètics…També trien, de forma personalitzada per a cada pacient, els diferents additaments implantològics i realitzen les diferents proves i comprovacions dels components protètics durant el procés de confecció de les pròtesis oral, aconseguint controlar aquest procés en tot moment per tal que les pròtesis estomatològiques acabades compleixin amb els objectius funcionals i estètics marcats en un inici. - L'alumne té coneixements científics per triar el tipus de material amb què estigui confeccionada la rehabilitació a instal·lar al pacient. - Els alumnes tenen les eines per mantenir la formació continuada actualitzada. Han de saber adaptar la seva pràctica clínica i el seu equip tecnològic als avenços i les modificacions que es produeixin al llarg de la seva vida professional, que pot ser autònoma i autodirigida.
  • - Tècniques de laboratori per a la Rehabilitació Oral - - Formula preguntes de recerca adequades. - L'alumne comprèn els conceptes fonamentals de la protesi removible - L'alumne elabora pla de tractament per a la protesi removible - L'alumne confecciona protesi removible parcial i total amb els diferents materials - L'alumne comprèn els fonaments dels trastorns temporomandibulars - L'alumne interpreta les proves diagnòstiques dels trastorns de l'articulació temporomandibular - L'alumne coneix i comprèn els tractaments actualitzats dels trastorns temporomandibulars. - L'alumne confecciona aparells per al tractament dels trastorns de l'articulació temporomandibular - L'alumne comprèn i executa els principis de la preparació dels teixits dentaris per als tractaments d'operatòria directa i indirecta - L'alumne comprèn i executa els principis de la preparació de els teixits dentaris per als tractaments de pròtesis fixa adhesiva i no adhesiva - L'alumne comprèn els fonaments de la protesi fixa adhesiva i no adhesiva - L'alumne confecciona protesis fixa provisional i definitiva
