Teaching and learning activities

In person

A methodology will be used that allows and encourages the active participation of the student:
• Theoretical classes, in which the course content will be presented while clarifying any doubts that may arise throughout. It is considered advisable that students attend the sessions having previously read the topics to be covered in class, provided they are available on the master's website and indicated by the responsible professor.
• Practical classes (workshops), in which clinical sessions involving case discussions and practical exercises will be carried out.

Evaluation systems and criteria

In person

  • Class attendance. A minimum of 80% attendance at in-person sessions is required in order to be assessed and successfully pass the course. If the overall class attendance is below 80% but above 60%, the course coordinator may require the student to complete an additional task or practical assignment as a condition for being evaluated. Under no circumstances will students with less than 60% attendance be eligible for evaluation, and the course will be considered not passed, requiring them to attend the second examination session.

  • Continuous assessment. 35% of the final grade will come from the evaluation of assignments or practical exercises related to the course content, as specified. These assignments or practicals must be submitted before the final exam on the date set by the respective instructors, and the content covered by these instructors will not be assessed in the final exam.

  • Final assignment or exam. The remaining 65% of the final grade will be based on a final exam, consisting of a multiple-choice test (50%) and a practical case (50%).
