Introduction
Welcome to the Business Consulting course. We are Paula Hernández and Ramiro Planas, the instructors of this new course. We are Business Consulting Managers at Deloitte's Barcelona office.
Paula will be the instructor for Group A, with classes on Thursdays at 8:00 a.m., and Ramiro for Group C, with classes on Thursdays at 10:15 a.m.
We hope that during this course we can provide a comprehensive overview of what we do in business consulting and that you enjoy the content as much as we enjoy putting it into practice in our daily work.
Objectives
The main objective of this course is to provide you with a global overview of Business Consulting, to explain you how we work and organize as well as presenting the most representative projects of our business
Syllabus
Teaching and learning activities
In person
This course will be divided in two parts: Theoretical classes (explained above) and practical activities:
1. Class activities Practical examples of consulting cases, tool exercises (XLS and PPT), DO's and DONT's of presentations, group dynamics, etc.2. Work at Home
3. Final Project

Final grade will be calculated:
- 20% Class Actitude (10% Atendance; 10% Participation)
- 10% Work at Home 1: "Structure a Real Case"
- 10% Work at Home 2: "How to EXCEL"
- 10% Work at Home 3: "Supply Chain Optimization"
- 10% Work at Home 4: "Create a Reporting Dashboard"
- 10% Work at Home 5: "Build Your Own CV"
- 30% Final Project (20% Content; 10% Final Presentation)
Must attend 5 clases to pass the course.If the weighted average of the course is passed, the course is passed.
If not, an extra project will be due on June to try to recover the class
