Introduction

Pulp Regeneration in Endodontics is an emerging area within contemporary endodontics that combines knowledge of pulp biology, tissue engineering, and advanced endodontic practice. The course aims to provide students with a comprehensive overview of the biological bases, techniques, and clinical applications of pulp regeneration procedures and vital pulp therapy, as well as to train them in the critical evaluation of existing scientific evidence.

Pre-course requirements

None

Objectives

Understand and apply advanced concepts of cell and tissue biology related to pulp regeneration and preservation.

Competences/Learning outcomes of the degree programme

General:

- Understand and apply advanced concepts of cellular and tissue biology related to

regeneration and pulp preservation.

- Develop critical capacity in relation to the scientific literature on regenerative therapies and

preservation

- Integrate scientific knowledge into advanced clinical practice.

Specific:

- Identify the biological bases of pulp regeneration and preservation.

- Know and apply the most relevant clinical techniques in pulp regeneration and vital therapy.

- Evaluate protocols, materials and biomolecules used in regenerative treatments and

conservatives
