Introduction
The Internship course allows students to make their first contact with the world of work and gain professional experience in the Journalism sector. It allows students to apply in the market the concepts learned in classes, workshops and workshops, always supervised by the academic tutor of the University and the tutor assigned by the company.
A minimum of 300 hours of work experience must be completed in a company located in Spain that is related to the audiovisual and communication sector, such as the media, advertising agencies, communication departments in private and public companies, institutions, etc.
Pre-course requirements
Mandatory subject available for registration only for the 4th year students.
Objectives
This course aims to enhance the student’s employability, assist in career orientation, and provide an initial introduction to the industry. The student will test their skills and apply what they have learned in the classroom.
Syllabus
300 hours of internship at a company related to communication.
An informational session will be held at the beginning of the course to explain the content and evaluation of the course, along with a training session to prepare their resume.
Some training sessions will be conducted on building their professional identity and overcoming various situations they will face when entering the job market. This session will focus on personal branding and the skills needed to market that brand.
