Introduction

The Master’s programme has a strong professional orientation, and therefore internships in companies and organisations are a key component of the programme.

The aim of the internship is to support students’ transition into the labour market by helping them integrate into a professional environment and apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during the programme to a variety of professional contexts. Internships also foster the development of a range of skills, competencies, attitudes and professional abilities.

Students complete an internship course as part of their Master’s programme. The programme includes a minimum of 9 ECTS credits (225 hours) of internship experience during the second semester of the academic year, from January until the end of June at the latest.

The Faculty will guide students so that they can meet their academic requirements while completing their internship. The time spent within the host organisation will provide students with practical knowledge and experience in their field and will contribute to their professional development and future employability.

Students are also expected to respect the agreements reached with the host organisations and to fulfil their commitments responsibly and professionally. In the event of any disagreement or difficulty within the organisation, students should contact their university internship supervisor or the directors of their Master’s programme.

Students will be monitored both by the University and by their supervisor within the host organisation. This supervision will take place on an ongoing basis and will include different reports and a meeting with the university supervisor. Each student will receive individual follow-up, with particular attention paid to the tasks carried out during the internship and to the development of their professional competencies.
