Fue Decana de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud y responsable del Área de Biología Molecular y Celular. Desde 2006 formaba parte de la Junta de Gobierno como Vicerrectora de Investigación, y compaginaba su gestión con la investigación e impartiendo docencia en las áreas de neurociencias, biología molecular y microbiología.
About 20 Ukrainian children will receive treatment this summer at the UIC's University Dental Clinic (CUO).
On Thursday, 29 July 2010, about 1000 people gathered in the gardens of the UIC's Sant Cugat campus for the graduation ceremony of the School of Dentistry. The keynote speaker at this year's ceremony was Jean Valcarcel Rocha, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Université de Montpellier, who spoke to the students about the importance of ethics and commitment in patient care.
