The selection of work placements is very diverse, as are the job opportunities with a degree in Humanities.
In the Faculty, we have created a student association known as Paideia to increase our knowledge and organise conferences, sessions outside the university, visits, etc.
Professors and lecturers with extensive academic and research experience
The teaching staff in the Faculty consists of professionals from various disciplines, including Humanities. For example, History, Philosophy, Literature and History of Art. All our permanent teaching staff hold PhDs and have extensive research experience, a fact that allows them to provide a comprehensive education to students, and to focus on their personal and professional development. Our professors and lecturers maintain strong ties to the professional sectors related to humanistic disciplines, a fact which allows students to learn at first-hand about the various professional opportunities these studies will offer.
Double degrees at Iona College (NY) and summer courses at Berkeley
Complete a programme that will afford you an international profile and enable you to further your education and enhance your knowledge of other languages at one of the most prestigious universities in the United States. You may also earn ECTS credits with summer sessions at Berkeley, the world’s best public university.

Studying both the Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities and the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management will exponentially increase your job opportunities, as, in addition to technical knowledge of the business world, you will also develop rigorous analytical and critical thinking skills. These programmes will enable you think deeply and openly on a wide range of humanistic, theoretical and instrumental subjects, as a complement to your business education.
This double degree creates business management professionals with knowledge of the Humanities and a global perspective of corporations and the world. It also shapes professionals who are capable of tackling the challenges linked to the new organisational and management trends in an increasingly globalised world.
It will enable you to pursue a career in a wide range of areas, including cultural management, team management and internal communication, at all manner of companies and institutions in the cultural industry or any other sector; marketing; communication strategies; conflict resolution and negotiation; specific development projects for NGOs or public authorities; in collaboration with national and international institutions on projects dealing with economic, social or cultural imbalance; or managing and promoting culture-related tourism projects, to name a few.
