What?

This course will allow you to certify a B2 level of English under the CEFR. It includes a final exam that assesses all four areas of language knowledge (listening, speaking, reading and writing). 

Once you have completed the course and passed the final exam, you will receive an official B2 certificate in English, thereby certifying the level of linguistic competence required to complete your bachelor's degree.

  • Virtual course: From 3 to 18 July, Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Exam: To be confirmed

Price

  • UIC Barcelona students: €380*
  • UIC Barcelona PDI and PAS: €300
  • Non-university candidates: €460

*You can apply for a Parla 3 grant from AGAUR towards the cost of the course. To apply, you must have been enrolled in and passed a language course (B2.1 or B2.2 sublevels or B2 level) that same year. Certification

UB-specific certificate. To earn the certificate, you must attend at least 80% of the sessions and pass the final exam. 

Credit recognition

This course has a workload of 4 ECTS credits. If you are an Erasmus student, you can include this course in your Learning Agreement. If you are a UIC Barcelona bachelor’s degree student, you can request recognition of 3 ECTS credits for taking the course. Online level test

To determine that you have the required level to be able to enrol in the course, it is essential that you do the following:

  1. Do this level test
  2. Contact us by email at multiling@uic.cat and we will tell you the result you obtained.
  3. Once we confirm your level, you may enrol in the corresponding course.

Application for admission

To register, all you need to do is fill out the form corresponding to the semester in which you would like to take the course. After submitting the form, you will receive an email with the necessary information to pay the enrolment fee.

A minimum number of students is required to open this course.
