Priest and emeritus professor from the University of Navarra, Dr Josep-Ignasi Saranyana, presented his latest book Historia de la teología cristiana (750-2000) (‘The history of Christian theology (750-2000)’), which compiles many of the lectures given by the author during his years of teaching.

In the book published by Eunsa, Saranyana contextualises and comments upon the work of leading Catholic, Lutheran and Reformed theologians, taking the resulting influences and subsequent repercussions into account. “I would like to contribute to how positions taken by the various authors included are understood and therefore allow my readers to evaluate the internal coherence of these contributions and their communion with the Christian tradition," said Saranyana in the presentation.

Held by the Faculty of Humanities, the event was attended by lecturers and students who were able to speak with the author about the subjects addressed in his book.
