The lecturer from the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, Laia Pujol, gave a talk at the Health Data Forum, in which she analysed the opportunities and obstacles of sharing health data.

Titled “Overcoming the barriers to health data sharing”, Pujol’s seminar shared inspiring models of pharmaceutical companies collaborating and competing for scientific health data.

The latest Health Data Forum opened the floor to perspectives from data scientists, health professionals, patients and governance to find a consensus and explore the role Big Data will play in the next generation of health systems.
