Teaching and learning activities

In person

% are flexible and will be adapted to the class dynamics. The subject will be oriented to include student's participation in all the methodologies, included Master Class. It's expected the participation of the student with reflective questions, discussions etc.
  • Master Class 53%
  • Case Method 22%
  • Cooperative Learning 12.5%
  • Group Tutorial 12.5%
  • Lectura crítica %

Evaluation systems and criteria

In person

The evaluation system incorporates different systems with a percentage distributed as follows:

  • Independent study: 10%
  • Written tests: 65%
  • Written work: 25%

These systems are limited to and distributed in the following tasks with corresponding tasks within the overall assessment of the course:

  1. Autonomous learning (classroom work and homework): 10%
  2. Written work (group work PAE): 25%
  3. Written tests:
  • Mid-term evaluation test (short questions) 25%
  • Final evaluation test (short questions + multiple choice test) 40%

To average students must pass the final evaluation test (5). Participation will be assessed based on the tasks carried out in the classroom.

2nd call:

Students can make up for the mid-term evaluation test + final evaluation test = 65% with an exam. 35% of group work and classroom tasks will be maintained. It's necessary to pass the final exam to have the average of the marks.

If students fail in group work and the classroom tasks, they will have the option to make up for it (group work) by resolvin a case (PAE) the same day of the exam. They can receive a maximum mark of 5. THIS CAN NOT BE USED TO RAISE ONE'S MARK OF THE COURSE.

Honors qualifications will not be awarded during retakes.

For students who take the solidarity practicum:

- The overall mark of the course assessment (mentioned above) will count as 85% of the total and 15% applies to the solidarity practicum. It is an essential requirement to apply these percentages, having previously passed the overall mark of the evaluation of the course.

-The Evaluation of the solidarity practicum will take place: by the institution or foundation where such practices are conducted and by performing a reflective journal (corrected by the coordinator of the course to which the practicum is associated).

Honor Matrix Assignment Procedure (MH)

  1. The criterion for assigning Honorary Enrolments (MH) is based on the Excellent (9.0).
  2. The assignment is solely for the teacher and does not have to give it, even if the student has obtained a mark above 9.0.
  3. In case the teacher decides to award MH, he will not take into account the numerical mark and the highest, but will evaluate other factors. The HM might not match the highest numeric score.

Procedure for Non-presented Assignment (NP)

  1. To register an NP in the student's file, it must not have been submitted to any of the evaluation tasks throughout the assignment.
  2. If a student has submitted to one of the evaluation tasks, the corresponding percentages in the teaching guide will be applied, with a 0 in those not presented.
