Education
Miguel José Aranda Sánchez has a Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Universitat de Barcelona (1986). He specialized in Internal Medicine at the Hospital general de Granollers (1988-1992). He holds a Master Degree in Medical Education from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, la Universitat de Barcelona, la Universitat de Lleida i la Universitat Rovira i Virgili (2011).
Professional experience
Miguel José is an Associate Professor at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya and has more than 30 years of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience. He works as an Associate Medical Doctor at the Internal Medicine Service of the Consorci Sanitari de Terrassa and as the teaching director of the same center. He has been Coordinator of the Training Group of the Spanish Society of Internal Medicine and, for 8 years, president of the National Commission for the specialty. His research focuses on infectious diseases, especially HIV infection, and medical education. He has more than 30 scientific publications, has authored several book chapters and has made more than 100 communications and conference presentations.
