Professional experience
As a Physiotherapist:
I carry out my healthcare work in the specialties of Traumatology, Sports, Performing Arts, plus the application of Lymphatic Drainage in aesthetics and traumatology.
Within the sports area, the work consists of not only treating the injuries suffered by athletes (both amateur, in training, and professionals), but also carrying out preventive work with the intention that these injuries do not reappear or, failing that, , minimize their severity. Likewise, I contribute to the physical well-being of all types of patients by recommending and teaching exercises adapted to their personal conditions.
In the area of Performing Arts, the work is mainly preventive. Observing the performer and advising good postural correction, specific muscle strengthening or elongation exercises.
In the event that there are injuries, they would be treated with the approach that occurs in athletes: that they be stopped for as little time as possible and that they recover as quickly as possible.
As for Lymphatic Drainage, it is a specific massage technique that is used in cases of edema. Edema appears after surgery, after trauma (swollen ankle after a sprain), due to poor return circulation or as a result of the removal of lymph nodes in cancer treatments. Specifically, I perform this type of technique in trauma and aesthetics.
On the other hand, my training in Occupational Risk Prevention complements that of a Physiotherapist in the area of Ergonomics. Therefore, I provide Training in everything related to this area such as Postural Hygiene or Manual Load Management, always adapted to the type of work carried out by those who receive the training.
