Introduction

In the event that the health authorities announce a new period of confinement due to the evolution of the health crisis caused by COVID-19, the teaching staff will promptly communicate how this may effect the teaching methodologies and activities as well as the assessment.

Teaching and learning activities

Sesiones teórico-prácticas, que combinarán clases magistrales (1 ECTS) con ejercicios de focused praxis (1 ECTS).                                                                                                                    

- Talleres (1,3 ECTS). Talleres prácticos para el desarrollo y la supervisión del trabajo final.         

- Meeting points (0,7 ECTS). Encuentros con profesionales de la industria televisiva.        

TRAINING ACTIVITY:
  • Practical workshop. A highly practical working activity, where students can acquire skills that are practical or also theoretical (intellectual skills, logical skills, critical skills, intellectual learning skills, study skills, quoting skills, etc).
  • Meeting Point. Meetings will be organised with notable people from the professional and scientific fields or the international field, and students. These sessions will take the form of conferences, work sessions, discussions, or interviews, etc.
  • Lectures. In lectures, lecturers/professors not only transmit content or knowledge, but also, and above all else, attitudes, motivation, skills and values, etc. They also ensure that participants can express their opinions and arguments to the other students.
  • Focused Praxis. Handing in occasional exercises to learn theory through practice.

Evaluation systems and criteria

60% Parte práctica.

50% - Proyecto final. Desarrollo de un formato original de entretenimiento. Esto se plasmará en un paper format y en un pitch que se realizará frente a toda la clase, y que deberá incluir una promo/demo del formato planteado. Los alumnos también deberán entregar la escaleta de guion y las primeras páginas del guion del primer programa. La nota del proyecto final será de evaluación continua, teniendo en cuenta el trabajo realizado en los talleres y la entrega de todos los documentos.                                                                                     

10% - Análisis de un caso y presentación oral en clase. Cada alumno escogerá y analizará, desde una óptica narrativa, un programa de entretenimiento. Después realizará una presentación oral sobre dicho programa ante sus compañeros, que también contribuirán a la evaluación del trabajo.

30% Parte teórica: examen final. Tendrá una parte más teórica y una parte más práctico-analítica, donde se persigue que el alumno aplique de un modo práctico los conocimientos adquiridos a lo largo de la asignatura.

10% Participación en clase.

Siguiendo la normativa académica de la UIC, para que el alumno pueda ser evaluado deberá asistir al menos al 80% de las sesiones presenciales. Para aprobar la asignatura, además, será imprescindible superar tanto la parte práctica como el examen final.

Segunda convocatoria

En caso de suspender una de las dos partes (práctica o teórica), en la convocatoria de junio sólo será necesario recuperar la parte suspendida. Los alumnos que hayan suspendido tanto el proyecto como el examen, o que no hayan asistido al mínimo estipulado de clases, deberán recuperar ambas partes.
