Introduction
The external practice in a biomedical company is designed so that students can acquire and consolidate their practical knowledge of everything they have studied so far and achieve final levels of competence to qualify for the enterprise option on the module.
During this work experience, students will produce a project tutored by a consolidated professional, in which they will acquire knowledge not only about the methods used but also about the state of the art in the field in which the project is carried out, and critical analysis of the results obtained.

• Have the ability to work in the field of the biomedical company.
• Know and use appropriately the specific vocabulary, as well as the specific bibliography of the company receiving the external practices.

Syllabus
The professional practices will be carried out in a biomedical company through an agreement. It will consist of 200 contact hours, which will be developed during the academic year during working hours from approximately 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The remaining hours to complete this subject will be dedicated to tutoring by the academic tutor, study and preparation for the assigned work position and the completion of an evaluation report of said practices reflecting what they have contributed to the company and what they have contributed these practices.

• Written work: any type of activity where a written document needs to be presented; Considering the nature of other activities presented here, it will be more related to the creation of short documents that address very specific topics related to a subject and that do not require great dedication to be carried out.
Evaluation systems and criteria
In person
The evaluation methods are based on a series of evaluation reports by the external tutor and on the assessment of the memory of the practices by the academic tutor.
• Final evaluation of the practices (60%): the external tutor will issue a report at the end of the practice hours. It will allow the final evaluation of the student and their professional and technical progress.
• Practice report (40%): the student must write a report on the stay and their contribution to the project. This report will be evaluated by the academic tutor.
The internship report must only be completed by the student and will be evidence of the knowledge acquired during the internship, in addition to providing a critical reflection on the added value of a biomedical doctor in the project or the general strategy of the organization.
Important considerations 1. You must obtain, at least, a 5 in the memory of the practices to pass the subject. 2. Plagiarism, copying or any other action that can be considered cheating will mean a zero in this section of the evaluation. 3. In the second call it will not be possible to obtain the honors registration qualification, so the maximum qualification will be excellent.
