Introduction to Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) Through the Use of FsQCA Software
QCA has gained many adepts in recent years and today is presented as a mixed-method that, using a set-theoretic approach, allows for a better understanding of complex causality and how the combination of different factors leads to the desired output. The aim of this course is to provide an initial introduction to this technique. Therefore, we will start reviewing the theoretical foundations and then move on and provide practical examples on how to correctly apply QCA. For this course, we will use fsQCA software.
The course is taught by Dr. Jasmina Berbegal, associate professor in the Department of Management at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Previously, she worked at UIC Barcelona.
