Suppory for victims of domestic violence
- Free service
- Therapeutic care for victims of domestic violence, aimed at improving their psychological, cognitive, emotional and social well-being.
- Strengthening self-knowledge, self-esteem, social skills and emotional management.
- Psychological and emotional empowerment of women.
- Development of social and communication skills.
- Support for conflict management and problem solving.
- Neuropsychological rehabilitation in case of cognitive deficits.
- Both individual and group attention (group dynamics and workshops are a positive form of treatment as the bonds formed create a context of support and solidarity, which is a key protective factor).

Dr. Montse Pàmias
Psychiatrist and medical director of the Clinic
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from the University of Navarra. Specialist in Psychiatry. PhD in Medicine from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Director of Mental Health at Sant Joan de Déu Hospital (Terres de Lleida). Former President of the Catalan Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (2012–2017). Lecturer at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and UIC Barcelona. Areas of clinical interest and scientific publications: ADHD, autism, mood disorders in children and adolescents. Management and resources in community psychiatry. Interdisciplinary work with psychology and education.

Olga Lozano
Care and Academic Coordinator for the Bachelor’s Degree and MPGS
Specialist in Educational and Developmental Psychology. She has over 25 years of professional experience in various schools, working as an educational psychologist since 2000, as well as in private practice. Specialist in the inclusion of students with Down syndrome, other disabilities, ASD, and learning disorders and difficulties.
Currently serves as the Care and Academic Coordinator at the SUPPORT Clinic. Also teaches on the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology at UIC Barcelona, within the field of Educational Psychology.

Dr. Meritxell Tost
Adult psychiatrist
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from the University of Barcelona. Specialist in Psychiatry. Consultant Psychiatrist at the Adult Mental Health Centre (First Episode Psychosis Unit) and home care services Parc Taulí Health Corporation in Sabadell (CSUPT). Works in interdisciplinary teams with psychology, nursing, and social work. Clinical experience in community settings as a primary care reference psychiatrist. Provides 24-hour psychiatric cover in the Emergency Department at CSUPT. Collaborating researcher in Mental Health at the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT). Areas of clinical and research interest: early psychosis, hormones and cognition in psychotic disorders.

Dr. Elena Pujals
Paediatric psychiatrist
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from the University of Barcelona (2004). Specialist in Psychiatry (2009). Psychiatrist in the field of paediatric hospitalisation at the Parc Taulí Health Corporation in Sabadell (Barcelona). Lecturer at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and UIC Barcelona. Areas of clinical interest and scientific publications: ADHD, autism, mood disorders in children and adolescents. Interdisciplinary work with psychology and education.

Postgraduate studies in Childhood, Pedagogy and Illness at the University of Baracelona Specialised in Clinical Psychology (PIR). Consultant psychologist at the CSMIJ Parc Taulí Hospital in Sabadell. Member of the Rare Diseases Unit and Parc Taulí Hospital. Lecturer at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. Areas of clinical interest: rare diseases, autism, ADHD, learning disorders, and mood disorders in children and adolescents. Community psychology.

Dr. Adela Berrozpe Blasco
Psychologist and Family and Couples Psychotherapist
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Universitat Politècnica de València. Master’s Degree in Systemic Family Therapy from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Lecturer at UIC Barcelona. Coordinator for the areas of Prevention and Psychological Support at SUPPORT. Head of the Comprehensive Family Care Programme (PIAE) with one or more members with a severe mental psychopathology (2001-2019). Director of the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology at Sant Joan de Déu Healthcare Park (2006-2019). Principal investigator for Catalonia on the project PEPE, (psycho-educational). Trainer in mental health centres in Spain for GEIFE (Spanish Schizophrenia Research and Training Group). Tutor on the PIR and MIR residency programme at the Sant Joan de Déu Healthcare Park (2002-2019).

Dr. Clàudia Rossy Parés

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Abat Oliba CEU University (2017). Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology from the same university (2019). Lecturer at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya. Currently undertaking a doctoral thesis on forgiveness at the end of life at the same university. Completed clinical placements in Psychiatry and Psychology at Hospital General de Catalunya, in both child and adult units (2018), at the Borderline Disorder Institute (2018–2019), and at the CDIAP in Sant Martí, Poblenou (2017). Completed a short course in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (2018). Experience in emotional education and mindfulness with secondary school students and children.

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychopedagogy from Ramon Llull University. Specialist in assessment, intervention, and guidance in the field of learning. Director of the Kairós psychopedagogical centre. Pedagogical Director, Coordinator of the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training, and lecturer in educational institutions. He has worked professionally as an educational psychologist in the private sector since 1999. Collaborating lecturer on the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at UIC Barcelona. Dr. Iris Crespo Martín
Adult psychologist
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Granada and is certified as a health psychologist. Master’s Degree in Psychogerontology from the University of Granada and Master’s Degree in Comprehensive End-of-Life Care from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. PhD in Medicine from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Lecturer on various undergraduate programmes at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at UIC Barcelona. Areas of clinical interest and scientific publications: wellbeing and quality of life in individuals with chronic and advanced illnesses, meaning-centred therapy, grief therapy, and cognitive function in older adults and individuals with chronic illnesses.

Dr. Isabella Meneghel
Occupational and Organisational Psychologist
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Padua (Italy). Master’s Degree in Work, Organisational, and Human Resources Psychology from Universitat Jaume I. PhD with international distinction from Universitat Jaume I. Lecturer on various undergraduate programmes at UIC Barcelona and on master’s programmes nationally. Author of numerous scientific publications and speaker at conferences in Spain, Europe, and Latin America. Has worked as a consultant for public and private organisations since 2014. Areas of interest and research within occupational health psychology: resilience, emotional wellbeing and stress management at work, assessment of psychosocial factors, implementation of positive psychological interventions, and sustainability of intervention outcomes.

Dr. Anna Carballo Márquez
Psychologist and Neuroscience Researcher
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a PhD in Neuroscience from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Postgraduate studies in Clinical Neuropsychology and Cognitive Rehabilitation from the Higher Institute of Psychological Studies. Integrative body therapist (Espai TCI) and psychologist specialising in trauma reprocessing (Institut Alecés). Lecturer in the Department of Psychology and the Faculty of Education at UIC Barcelona. Areas of clinical and research interest: trauma reprocessing, neuropsychology, and applied neuroscience in education.

Anna García Casanovas
Child and Adolescent Health Psychologist.
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2020). Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology from the same university (2022). Specialist training in Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology accredited by Universidad a Distancia de Madrid (2023). Areas of interest and expert courses in emotional management, ADHD, learning difficulties, behavioural problems, anxiety and mood disorders in childhood and adolescence. She has developed her career in the clinical field of psychology, working with children, adolescents and adults. She has professional experience in the private sector from the Adult Mental Health Service of the Parc Taulí University Hospital in Sabadell and at the Support University Psychology and Psychiatry Clinic of UIC Barcelona.

Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Specialist in Clinical Psychology via PIR at Benito Menni Mental Health Care Complex. Master’s Degree in Group Analytic Psychotherapy from the University of Deusto. Specialist training in Contextual Therapies from the ACT Institute. Experience in public and private sectors and in teaching. Areas of clinical interest: mood disorders in adults, group psychotherapy, personality, and trauma.
Sònia Gil
Child and Adolescent Health Psychologist and Neuropsychologist
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Master’s Degree in Child and Adolescent Clinical Psychology and accredited as a General Health Psychologist. Master’s Degree in Neuropsychology from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
Since 2012, she has worked in assessment and intervention with child and adolescent populations. Combines clinical practice with teaching at various institutions.
Main areas of interest: neurodevelopmental disorders (learning disorders, ADHD, autism), mood disorders, and behavioural difficulties in children and adolescents.
Dr Sonia Ortiz
Adult psychiatrist VCU
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and is a specialist in Psychiatry from Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge. Since 2012, she has combined clinical practice with management responsibilities across various community-based services at Sant Joan de Déu Health Park. She has been working together with the SUPPORT Clinic since 2024.
Marina Santamaria
Alumni Advisor and Adult Health Psychologist
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ramon Llull University (Blanquerna) and a Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology, qualifying her as a General Health Psychologist. Completed a Master’s Degree in Family Therapy at Sant Pau Hospital, qualifying her as a Family and Couples Therapist, and specialised in Integrative Psychotherapy and Trauma Reprocessing, including EMDR. Lecturer on various undergraduate and master’s programmes at UIC Barcelona and other educational institutions. Currently serves as Director of the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology at UIC Barcelona and has long-standing experience as a psychologist in private practice.
Andrea Lastra
Psychological Support for the University Community
Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology from UVIC-UCC. She also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Humanistic Psychology and a specialisation in attachment and affective relationships. Currently serves as a lecturer on the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, head of Psychological Support for the University community at the SUPPORT Clinic, and academic coordinator of the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology at UIC Barcelona. She has extensive experience as an individual therapist for adults in private practice.

Teaching
The Skills Laboratory subjects allow students observe real life cases at the Support Clinic from the first year and through the fourth, a fact that adds 33% more practical hours to the subject External Practices in the Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Moreover, students can observe additional cases during the months of June and July if they voluntarily request to do so.
Fourth-year bachelor’s degree students and students in the University Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology (PGS) have the option to participate in sessions as co-therapists or to visit patients under the supervision of Support professionals.
