We reward excellence

For those students with an excellent academic record, UIC Barcelona makes available a programme whose goal is to foster talent and train future leaders and researchers. The programme consists of offering the first year of any UIC Barcelona bachelor degree course in any subject completely free of charge.

With the aim of promoting talent and training future leaders and researchers UIC Barcelona provides free studies to students who can accredit an excellent curriculum.

Pre-requisites and characteristics

The grant can be applied for by any students who are among:

• The 500 students with the best PAU (national university entrance examination) results in the Autonomous Community of Catalonia the 100 students with the best PAU results in the other autonomous communities (*).
• The students with an overall distinction after the second year of upper secondary school education.
• We reward excellence is incompatible with any other financial assistance granted by the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.

Fulfilling the requirements to apply for the waiver does not imply that the student will be directly admitted or receive any preferential rights in the University’s admission processes.  To take advantage of this waiver, the student can only be admitted after passing UIC Barcelona’s own admission processes and complying with the legal requisites for accessing university studies.

(*) The application period for the grant will end on 15 July.
