This year marks the 10th anniversary of Filmmaking, an extracurricular activity organised by the Faculty of Communication Sciences and intended for undergraduate Audiovisual Communication students. As part of this initiative, students recreate complex cinematic sequences from some of the most iconic films and television series.

Both the technical crew (director, director of photography, costume designer, etc.) and artistic team (actors and extras) are comprised of students from the Faculty. Filmmaking is an excellent opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience in film production and shooting, while also fostering teamwork.

The 10th edition is coordinated by Ignasi Guerrero, creative director at btcom and UIC Barcelona alum, who directed the last edition of the activity. The titles chosen for the remakes are Seven, Scream, Skyfall and The Office. The students’ work will be screened on 28 April at 15.00 in the Aula Jardí on the Barcelona Campus.
