Year-four students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing have once again organised the Interdisciplinary Approach to the Elderly Event, which this year will focus on symptom management at the end of life.

The event will feature a round table discussion in which health practitioners and students will share experiences and reflections on caring for older adults at the end of life across different care settings.

The session will also serve to present studies by students from the bachelor’s degree programme in both oral paper and poster format; work which also focuses on geriatric and palliative care. The event will conclude with the reading of conclusions and the awards ceremony.
