On 19 November, the Sant Cugat Campus will host the second edition of the Medical Student Conference – ProMedUIC 2026, this year organised by students on the Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine in collaboration with the Department of Medicine.

Open to students in all years of the degree, the conference aims to provide a space where future doctors and healthcare professionals can meet and exchange knowledge. The programme will include lectures and practical workshops covering different areas of contemporary medicine, such as working in international settings, ultrasound, surgical techniques and training opportunities abroad.

This initiative takes place ahead of the 27th National Congress and 3rd International Congress of the Spanish Society for Medical and Health Sciences Education (SEDEM), which will be held on the Sant Cugat Campus on 19, 20 and 21 November. It also forms part of the events planned throughout the academic year to commemorate the 20th anniversary of UIC’s Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, highlighting the institution’s commitment to high-quality medical education that is closely aligned with professional reality.
