An intimate master class with Richard, sharing his love of sculpture and explaining how Wētā Workshop utilises traditional sculpting techniques, in conjunction with digital pipelines, to create the physical objects that they do through their work every day.

Richard will specifically take the audience through a step by step exploration of one of the largest bas relief sculptures in the world, which He and his crew created for the Expo 2020 Dubai Mobility Pavilion.

While sharing his love of craft and creativity, Richard will speak of the passion, enthusiasm, tenacity and talent needed to achieve these type of projects with his team year after year.
