The Faculty of Humanities is co-organising the outreach activity “Antarctic expedition. Scientific research and the support of the Spanish Army”, a session in which both civilian and military participants will share their experience of the mission, daily life at the Antarctic base and the motivations driving scientific research in Antarctica, particularly in areas such as the microbiome, climate and ice melt.
