The Faculty of Dentistry is once again organising the Updates in Dentistry Conference (JAO), a scientific event aimed at professionals in the sector — including dentists and dental hygienists — which has become a key meeting since its inception in 2007.

The main objective of this initiative is to provide professionals with tools to update their knowledge and clinical skills to meet the needs of the sector and patients across all areas of dentistry.

During the event, attendees will also have the opportunity to visit the commercial exhibition area, where leading companies in the sector will showcase the latest developments in equipment and materials.

This year, the JAO will once again become a meeting place for the Faculty's Alumni community, as well as dental professionals and hygienists from around the world.

III CAREER FORUM

As part of the XVIII Updates in Dentistry Conference, the Career Forum will also take place, organised by Alumni and the Faculty of Dentistry. This space aims to promote networking and provide students from the Faculty with access to the job market through a dedicated area where national and international companies will present themselves, allowing students to connect and apply for vacancies.

As is tradition, the event will include the Alumni meeting to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Class of 2005 of the Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry from UIC Barcelona.
