Pre-registration

The UIC Barcelona Experience Campus has a section in Bolvir Cerdanya, located at the Bolvir Town Hall. It offers the university programme of the Experience Campus to people over 50 years old from this area.

The subjects cover the following fields of knowledge: history, art, philosophy, literature, science, technology, law, economics, sociology, psychology, and health sciences, allowing students to deepen their understanding of current culture, science, and society.

Classes take place in the assembly hall of Bolvir Town Hall, Carrer de la Font, number 2.

Dates:

2 October to 10 June

Timetable:

Once a month, in-person classes on Wednesdays from 11.00 to 13.30 and 15.30 to 18.00

Virtual classes on the other Wednesdays from 15.30 to 18.00

Classes and other activities are held every Thursday from 15.30 to 18.00

Methodology

The programme is dynamic and participatory, requiring group work beyond the in-person and virtual sessions.

The teachers will begin their courses with two in-person classes and then conduct subsequent sessions virtually at the Creand Foundation premises.

Assessment: Pass or fail. An 80% attendance rate and active participation are required. There are no exams.

Students who have successfully completed all three years will receive the certificate of Holder of a Diploma from the UIC Barcelona Senior University Graduate Programme in Culture, Science and Society. (Andorra Section) This is not a university degree programme.

Requirements

The Experience Campus is aimed at people over 50 years of age.

No prior qualification is required.

Pre-enrolment can also be done at the Bolvir Town Hall secretary’s office.

Places are limited and will be allocated in order of registration date.
