Mariana Ribeiro, PhD

I completed my PhD at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Coimbra (Portugal), where I researched the pharmacological and toxicological actions of new combined cancer therapies.

In September 2014, I joined the New Cyclins Group at UIC Barcelona and I now focus on studying the role of polyphosphate in mammalian cells.

In my free time, I go to the gym and I travel around beautiful Catalonia.
